Every Friday, the Grade 6 students are responsible for giving an Eco-Announcement to the rest of the Primary School to encourage them to be more eco-friendly. We decided to publish our announcements here, so that you can be encouraged too! Here it is! (BTW we know it's not Friday today, we'll try to be more prompt with our next Eco-Announcement!)
Plastic Bags
As some of you know, plastic bags take up to 1000 years to break down. Some shopping centres are now selling 'green' bags for you to use instead, and some places like Bunnings don't use plastic bags at all. So next time you go shopping, or pack your lunch for school, take your green bags instead of a plastic bag!
